Free Agent Jungle hosts events for people working on their own: free agents, freelancers and consultants. The project first came to life in 1999 when Sooz (Susan Kaup) had lunch with another freelancer who also wished he had more human interaction during the day while working from home. After that lunch, Sooz hosted a monthly networking lunch for freelancers until 2004. The project went on hiatus for a few years and came back to life January 2009.

People who attend lunch come from diverse industries, areas of expertise and backgrounds. Participants include publicists, lawyers, writers, web developers, graphic designers, marketers, architects, artists and more. If you are working on your own (not tied to a corporation) or you are about to embark on a freelancer career, you are welcome to join us at the next Free Agent Jungle event.

Join us the third Thursday of most every month for Free Agent Jungle Lunch: an event that is a mix of business networking, support and socializing. The next lunch is on Thursday, November 19th at Tavern In The Square in Porter Square Cambridge, 11:30am – 1:30pm.
